You can use the exact same method as google has done to create an item, share it, and at some point in the future you will benefit from it.
Remember the idea is to provide something useful that has your endorsement or subtle cross promotion of a product or service you provide. Its NOT to be used to sell directly and also make sure the person knows that he / she can share the item.
